My father is called Abila Emmanuel and my mother is called Polly Abila. My parents were divorced when I was a little boy and I was brought up by my step mother with much physical suffering. She beat me often and denied me food frequently. She did not value my education in school and that is the reason why I am still only in P.4. It was Fr. Lagoro who picked me from my home in Dokolo District and brought me to Gulu and placed me in a boarding school in Mother Angioletta Primary School of the Nuns.
I am happy and desire to continue with education here because I am now able to read and write in English.
I’m thankful to God for Father Lagoro.
